Firearms Purchasing Policy

The term “Omaha Outdoors” or “us” or “we” or “our” refers to Omaha Outdoors, LLC, the owner of the website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Purchasing Process

Purchasing online for a firearm is easy and similar to any online shopping experience. The difference is that we can only ship to an FFL. Please read our firearms purchasing policy before proceeding. Adult signature will be required on all firearm shipments.

We only require two things from you to complete and process a firearm purchase online.

1. Payment. Omaha Outdoors accepts credit cards, money orders, and ACH.

2. A copy of a Federal Firearms License (FFL) from your local gun dealer. Any legitimate business that sells firearms has an FFL license.

Once you add the firearm to the shopping cart, before submitting your payment info, you will be asked to choose an FFL during the checkout process. It is your responsibility as the customer to arrange your transfer with your preferred FFL dealer. Contact the dealer and ask about their transfer fee if you do not know. The average cost is $25.00 but varies from dealer to dealer.

If you do not see the FFL you are looking for, select “CHOOSE FFL LATER” to proceed to make a payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to have the local gun dealer e-mail their FFL license to to [email protected]. Your FFL dealer MUST include your order number and full name. This will allow Omaha Outdoors to process your online firearm purchase as fast as possible.

Processing

All orders will be shipped within 5 to 7 business days. Most of the time, it takes us 1 to 2 business days to ship. Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, national holidays, and the day the package was picked up on. If an order item is changed (item, FFL, payment method), the order processing will be delayed 5-7 business days.

Firearms Return Policy

All firearms are new and unopened. We do not inspect the guns before they are shipped. Before taking ownership of your firearm at the FFL’s location, please examine thoroughly and confirm that this is the firearm you had ordered and that there are no defects.

If there are any issues with your firearm purchase, DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRANSFER. We will ship the firearm back to us at our expense and provide you an option with your choice of a replacement or full refund.

Once you accept the transfer, the firearm is now considered to be used and must be returned directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. Any gun that is accepted is NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-RETURNABLE.

In the case that the customer is declined during their background check (ATF Form 4473), the customer is responsible for the shipping fee of returning the firearm and a 15% restocking fee will be assessed.

Compliance

Customers are responsible for verifying that the firearm you order is legal in your state of residence. If your gun needs any modifications due to your state’s laws, please notify us at the time of order to avoid any delays.

If the firearm has been shipped to a state where the gun is NOT LEGAL, the customer will be charged for the return shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee.

You are of legal age to purchase products and are in compliance with all rules and regulations of your jurisdiction.

Cancellations

Orders canceled after processing (order has been placed, invoiced, or shipped) and unopened items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Goods only accepted within 30 days of the original invoice date. Refused shipments are subject to return freight charges. Omaha Outdoors reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders at our discretion.

Custom Refinished Firearms

Usually, when you modify or disassemble a firearm, the manufacturer warranty is voided. For Omaha Outdoors to refinish or coat your gun to a different color, the gun has to be disassembled. Omaha Outdoors offers a 12-month workmanship warranty and will cover the shipping costs to and from. The warranty does not cover wear and tear or accidental damage. If the coating bubbles or wipes off easily with acetone or brake cleaner, that would be covered in the workmanship warranty. If you have a firearm malfunction, you would need to contact Omaha Outdoors and not the manufacturer. If you send your firearm directly to the manufacturer for troubleshooting or repair, Omaha Outdoors will not be responsible for any expenses incurred.

On Sale & Promotions

On Sale pricing only applies to “In Stock” items or while supplies last. Out of Stock items do not qualify for the sale price.
